RHEL 9 has now been released.
Here are some aspects of it:
- it uses an updated system toolchain,
- it brings latest container technologies,
- it provides new security features,
- it comes with a new kernel (5.14) improving multi-threading,
- it doesn’t primarly rely on ifcfg-files anymore but on keyfiles,
- support for disabling SELinux through /etc/selinux/config has been removed.
