Pamela Nigro will be the next chair of the ISACA board of directors when the 2022-23 ISACA board is installed on 1 June.
Nigro, currently the ISACA board vice chair and vice president-security with Medecision, is a recognized subject matter expert in HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 1, SOC 2, Sarbanes-Oxley (NAIC-MAR), and IT/cybersecurity controls and risk assessments. Nigro is also an adjunct professor at Lewis University in Illinois, USA, where she teaches graduate-level courses on information security, ethics, risk, IT governance and compliance, and management of information systems in the MSIS and MBA programs. She has more than 25 years of experience in the information technology industry and holds numerous IT certifications.
John De Santis will be the next vice chair. De Santis, currently a director on the ISACA board, is a technology executive and a past chairman and CEO of HyTrust. He is a company-builder with experience in the software, networking and information security domains.
There will be one new director joining the ISACA board for the 2022-23 term – Bjørn Watne, of Norway. Watne is senior vice president and chief security officer at Telenor Group. He has two decades of experience in the security industry and is past president of the ISACA Norway Chapter.
