Improve Your Active Directory Security

Malicious cyberactors can leverage an organization’s Active Directory settings to gain network privileges by moving laterally. However, by taking proactive security measures, it is possible to reduce the attack surface of the enterprise’s network. For example, administering Active Directory only from intermediary servers, also known as “jump hosts,” boosts security by limiting access to predetermined users and devices.

To share more tips for securing Active Directory servers, ISACA® will host the “4 Pillars of Active Directory Security” webinar on 11 February at 11AM CST (UTC +5 hours). The webinar will explore why it is essential that attacks and attack pathways be detected in real time, when to perform threat hunting and what makes traditional, log-based security solutions susceptible to failure. ISACA members who attend will earn 1 continuing professional education (CPE) hour for the event.
