ISACA’s Newest Chapter: Rwanda

Author: ISACA
Date Published: 4 March 2020

To help IS audit, governance, risk and security professionals in Rwanda better acquire and share knowledge, a new ISACA® chapter has been formed in Rwanda. Prior to the formation of this chapter, those looking to participate in chapter activities had to travel out of the country. With the addition of the Rwanda Chapter, ISACA now has 223 chapters in 97 countries.

The skills ISACA members have are in demand in Rwanda. The government of Rwanda is actively seeking to improve information and communications technology (ICT) in the country, and this involves a move toward online services and better protection of private information. Through the creation of a chapter in Rwanda, ISACA members in the region can pursue professional development locally and ensure that their skills are up to date.
